Our bird history
At Parrots and Friends, birds aren’t just pets—they’re family. Having shared our lives with parrots for over 20 years, we truly understand how special and sensitive these incredible companions are.
In the wake of Covid, we saw a heartbreaking rise in neglected birds—many left in poor condition from breeding. We opened our home and garden to those in need, giving them space, safety, and a second chance at life. Today, we are working towards purchasing land to create a dedicated sanctuary for our growing family of parrots, tortoises, and terrapins.

To help fund this mission, we’ve developed a range of handcrafted, bird-safe candles and household products—designed to be gentle, natural, and non-toxic for homes with birds. Every purchase directly supports our rescue work, from rehabilitation and veterinary care to educating new owners on proper bird care.
